About

I have always enjoyed drawing outdoors and translating my sketches into paintings. I fell in love with the medium of batik during my teacher training and for many years focused on this alongside teaching. I then began to diversify, experimenting with mixed media that included machine stitch and eco print. I currently work mostly in watercolour, sometimes adding collage or print to the surface.

Based in the Wirral, I am mainly inspired by the light and colours in local landscapes and also those in Wales.  I exhibit with The Artists Group (TAG), Wirral Society of Arts, Remix Creatives and The Batik Guild.
