Ron Stevens

About

After studying graphic design at Leeds and Manchester Ron worked as a designer, eventually becoming creative director of a design consultancy, and later an independent design consultant.

After a 30 year gap a visit to the Visual Arts Cheshire (VAC) gallery in Brunner Court prompted Ron to take up painting again, initially bird life, particularly water birds, and landscapes. More recently he has worked on a series of interesting buildings in Northwich and further afield in line and wash. He has exhibited at the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art, the Association of Animal Artists, Castle Park Arts Centre, Frodsham, the Northwich Art Trail and other VAC exhibitions. Always keen on drawing he has also taken up sketching people and places again.
