This exhibition presents a collection of paintings in a combined technique of hot and cold batik on silk, created by the artist Elena McLaren, who explores color, texture, and form through the traditional wax batik technique.

Working on silk, the artist applies layers of wax and dye, creating luminous compositions where colors flow and interact organically. This process requires patience and precision, as each step of applying wax and dye gradually reveals intricate patterns and subtle tonal transitions.
